Community Coalition Mountain Crest Logo
In today’s trying times, community is something many individuals need. Turmoil, war, anger, frustrations, etc. These are things that divide a community, not bring them together. Pastor Christopher Ingram of Healing Heart Ministry wants to represent that in a coalition movement. As a result, we can join together in peace, understanding, and unity.
The logo is circular in design with a ribbon banner for presentation. A mountain peak within the clouds represents reaching the highest goals. The ultimate goal of Community Coalition is to create a movement of joining everyone in harmony. To strive for that goal, many different individuals have to come together for a common cause. That is where the hands come into play, with two hands clasped together in unity.
The crest is blended in different hues of blue, black, grey, and white. Therefore, this provides a calm theme of color mixed with imagery of power and strength. The ribbon uses a turquoise blue gradient. As a result, this creates a soothing, silky banner that feels inviting. In addition, there is also a drop shadow present in the circular white border. The shadow, alongside the ribbon, provides a 3D effect to showcase depth in the crest.
For the font, both words use Franklin Gothic Medium. COMMUNITY is set in an arch to fit the ribbon banner. However, COALITION is smaller to fit the dark grey section below. Both words are in white with light blue, solid, drop shadows. As a result, this adds extra depth and to allow the contrasting colors to stand out further. Lastly, the clasped hands are in a dark turquoise in order to have them stand out. Therefore, it makes it easier to see beyond the light blue mountainside and cloudy skies.
